Chris Anthony Heli-Ski Alaska Camp
Chris Anthony Adventures has once again teamed up with Kevin & Jessica Quinn for HELI CAMP ALASKA. Chris hosts his groups at their operation in Cordova Alaska site of Points North Heli Adventures.
Once booked in with Chris he will do his best to customize the program and communication as well as be your guide.
The location of Cordova, Alaska is the only heli-skiing operation utilizing the southeastern side of the Chugach Mountains. In the past decade, the Chugach Range has proved to be the premier destination worldwide for helicopter skiing and boarding. Accessed by ferry or plane, Cordova is unlike any other community in the state. Alaska Airlines flies into Cordova twice daily from Seattle and Anchorage. Upon arrival, a staff member that will cater to your every need will greet you. A short, fifteen-minute drive to our facility offers many opportunities to see bald eagles, moose and the beautiful town of Cordova. Along the way you will also view the breath taking mountains you will soon be skiing or snowboarding.
The location in Cordova allows Chris to provide you with a ‘private’ playground in your backyard. While other operations share terrain, here you are able to explore areas that the others cannot conveniently access. The team will continue to find new terrain each year catering from the intermediate level recreation skier to the world-class athlete. If you have heard of heli skiing in Alaska, and are already this deep in your research of operators, it is more than likely we have terrain to suit your desires.
With over 2000 square ski-able miles available out the front door, there is more terrain than one could ski and ride in a lifetime!
The lodging is all-inclusive. It is the ONLY operation in the state with 2 full service lodges. The facility is not a hotel or motel. It is located directly on the waters edge. All of our meals are guaranteed to make your mouth water and our local chef specializes in fine cuisine. Within the lodge we also offer wireless Internet access, just in case you are thinking of work while on vacation.
6 – DAY / 7 NIGHT TRIPS
You will find below a weekly schedule to use for your travel planning
March 20 – 27
or
March 27 – April 3
**Please note: Saturday’s are change over days. Guests generally do not ski on their arrival / departure days. This is a 6-day trip. However, if the current group in house has had bad luck with weather all week, they are priority to ski on that Saturday (change over day).
An average day of skiing or snowboarding consists of 20 – 25,000 feet of vertical per day. The price on pays for his or her excursion, based on our heli time rate is averaging around $800 – $1,100 per day. This generally gets you around 8 -12 heli runs in the given area we are flying that day. You are not paying for vertical. You are paying for quality ski runs!
